Here is a statement that I hear a lot: “I am seriously confused about searching for jobs online. What is the best way to look for Employment online?”

That is a very significant and timely question. In today’s highly competitive and rather difficult employment market one has to really be on his or her toe’s to move a head on their job search

Looking for employment online boils down to a couple of things really:

1. Persistence! and
2. Knowing what you want and not being distracted!

Once you get online it is so easy to start poking around here and there, following up a funny video, answering a question from a friend on FB, or sending out tweets.

The world of the internet can grab a hold of you and not let go.

For that reason you have to start with a particular objective in mind and using inner strength stick to the tasks until they are done.

Knowing what you want when you start searching at your computer means you must decide on your goals to begin with.

For example:

A. I am going to work until I find 10 employment leads today.

Then you stick to your goal until you find the number of leads you decided you wanted. DON’T STOP WHEN YOU HAVE 5 OR 6! Your goals are more important that the distractions that will show up so stick to them.

B. I am going to send out 15 resumes today for positions that I am qualified for.

Then just as in A. above you stick to finding the positions you are qualified for and sending your resume out to ALL 15 of them.

You do this every single day. You must. Without employment you are broke, have no security and no health insurance etc. etc.

Searching for a job is more work than having a job and you really have to understand that fact and act on it.

You will have to use an Employment website in order to do your searches. There are many of them: EMPLOMENT911.com,Federal-Resume.org,Monster.com,Careerbuilder.com and hundreds of others.

You may need to visit them all, (I have found that Employment911.com has a fantastic number of jobs) or you may find everything you need on just one of them!

In today’s brutal job market, an Online job search really is the best method for finding a job. The internet is limitless and it never tires (though it might crash)! hehe.
